Some state tax
agencies have issued tax filing and/or payment guidance for those affected by
the COVID-19 Pandemic. (If your state isn't linked, no additional guidance has
been issued.)

Alabama
All tax types -
April 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. Interest waived
through July 15 for tax payments due March 15. For more information, see the Alabama

Payment date
- Taxpayers that scheduled their Income Tax (IIT, BIT, PTE, FDT) or Business
Privilege Tax payment due 4/15/2020 when they e-filed their return can now
reschedule or cancel that payment. This option is only for payments scheduled through
MeF.
Partnerships and LLCs
- March 15 filing and payment deadline extended to July 15 Corporations and S Corporations
- Filing and payment deadline extended to July 15 Individuals -
April 15 filing and payment deadline extended to July 15 Any other entity type (or
quarterly estimated tax payment with a return or payment due date between March
15 and April 15) is now extended to July 15. For more information, see the California

Individuals and Businesses -
April 15 filing deadline extended to October 15. April 15 payment deadline
extended to July 15. 1st and 2nd quarter estimated payments extended to July

- Coloradans wishing to cancel their currently scheduled direct debit payments
in order to take advantage of the deadline extension can do so by emailing the
Colorado Department of Revenue at DOR_TaxpayerService@state.co.us. For
expedited processing, taxpayers should put “Request Cancellation of Direct
Debit Payment” in the subject line of the email. Once a payment is cancelled,
it cannot be rescheduled through filing software, and a taxpayer must pay by
the extended due date using another method to avoid penalty and interest.
Please submit all payment cancellation requests no later than 5:00 PM, Monday,
April 13th, 2020.

- March 19 through July 31 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 31. The extension does not apply to

All tax types -
April 15 and May 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. Fiscal
year filers with due dates between March 1 and May 30 receive an automatic
60-day extension. For more information, see the Louisiana

Individuals and Estates and
Trusts - April 15 through July 15 filing and payment deadlines extended
to July 15. 1st quarter estimated payments extended to July 15. Corporations -
April 15 through July 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. For more information, see the State

Business and Excise tax returns
- Penalties will be waived for late-filed returns originally due between March
16 and April 25. Taxpayers may request to have the penalties waived on a
late-filed extension or return, or in a separate request. Interest owed will
not be waived. If you paper-file, write "COVID-19" on the top center
of the first page.
Individual, School District,
Pass-through Entity, and Municipal income tax returns -
April 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. 1st and 2nd quarter
estimated tax payments extended to July 15. For more information, see the Ohio

- Ohio provides a self-service option for taxpayers to cancel a postdated
income tax payment and reschedule with a different date as needed. Via Online
Services on tax.ohio.gov, taxpayers can register or log in to their existing
account and cancel their future dated estimated, extension or tax due payments.
As long as the payment is in a “Pending” status in Online Services, it can be
cancelled.
To change the payment date: Log into Online
Services with User ID and Password. Or, register to
create an Online Services account. Under “Online Services” on the
left side of the page, click View / Make Payments. Select the number of months
from the dropdown, then click the Go button. Under “View Payments”, click
the cancel button to the right of the payment you wish to cancel.
Individuals
- April 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. 1st quarter
estimated payment deadline remains April 15. Corporations
- May 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. 1st quarter
estimated payment deadline remains April 15. Fiscal-year returns due after May

All income taxes -
April 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. Other state taxes -
April 1 through June 1 filing and payment deadlines extended to June 1. For more information, visit the

Individuals and Corporations -
April 15 filing and payment deadlines extended to July 15. Utah has an
automatic 6 month extension to file individual and corporate income taxes
(generally due October 15, 2020) but tax payment must be made by July 15. For more information, see the Utah State Tax

Individuals -
April 1 through June 1 Income tax payment deadlines extended to June 1.
